Everyday I passed by your restaurant to work, it reminds me of my horrible experience at your restaurant. How could I confuse your restaurant with some other? I worked at a place very close to your restaurant. To be fair, I did not ask for it - honestly, that was the least of the disgusting thing that happened there.Responding to owner's commentI myself am Indian. Raaz is located on Washington Blvd in Newport office center in Jersey city. Just to make it clear, I was quite calm before, during and after the conversation.Oh, by the way, I did not get the money back. Ultra-hip ambience, casual lake front atmosphere and a traditional Indian menu. I waited for 45 minutes and then left the place in disgust. I wanted to complain to the manager, but the manager did not come out at all. I was quite stunned by the whole episode. I asked him if he understood what it means to make an Indian eat non-veggie, to which he said "I am not here to understand you *** brown coloured people". Reno, Charles Vernon Rheinstrom, Marion Rhodes. If you are around Newport and are in mood for some Indian food, this is a place to go to. While speaking I accidentally dropped the spoon on the plate to which he asked me not to show my anger on the plate (his every sentence ended with "you will get your money back"). Rauch, Mildred Reed, Allen Reisz, Frank Remelin, Eleanor C. 2nd time this happened, to my single question why I was served meat, the waiter rudely / bluntly asked me to stop complaining as I will get the money back. Visited twice I ordered veggie dish, I was served chicken (both the times).
